3. Johor Bahru City Square CNY Fair

Located less than 10 minutes away from the checkpoint is this CNY Fair at the favourite City Square Mall. This fair is smaller than the rest, with fewer variety and only 30 stalls compared to the 100 stalls found at other fairs; though the CNY decor and set-up here is quite stunning.

Some of the items you’ll find include the usual suspects from popular brands like Joymom’s, Lavender, Oloiya, Yong Sheng, YiJia Pastry House and Fatmama. However, do note that prices here might be slightly more jacked up due to its convenient location, so you might want to travel a little more to other fairs to get better prices.

4. Guan Chuar

If you’re looking for discounted prices on premium canned goods, alcohol and more, Guan Chuar has got the deals for you. Some of their best offers include 6 cans of premium abalone for RM100, 1-for-1 deals on selected items and even rare Year of the Snake Hennessy XO bottles, just to name a few.
