Yi Foon Durian is a popular durian stall in JB, located just ~20 minutes away from the checkpoint, and they’ve brought back their popular durian buffet from just RM 30 (~$8 SGD) per person! There’s no dining time limit (for now) for the buffet, so you can sit and enjoy as many durians as you want for as long as you want!

They’ll cut open the durians for you so you can enjoy at the table. While the quality of the durians might not be the most premium, it’s still quite the steal considering you get all the durians you can eat for less than $10, when a single durian in Singapore can set you back at least $10 or more.

The durians for the buffet are given out at random, and if you opt for the standard RM 30 buffet, you’ll be enjoying a mix of kampung durian. If you’d like to upgrade to more premium grades of durian, there’s also an option for RM 60 (~$17 SGD) per person. Some of the durians available include Black Thorn, Red Prawn, D13, Black Pearl, Golden Phoenix and more; but note that Mao Shan Wang is not included in the buffet. If you’re thinking of coming to enjoy the buffet, make sure to head down early (ideally before 8pm) as the buffet is highly popular and the durians might be all sold out if you arrive too late in the day.
