1. Star Wars Day: May the 4th Be With You Festival

It doesn’t matter if you’re part of the Resistance or the Dark Side – put aside your differences because Star Wars Day: May the 4th Be With You Festival is back again for its 2nd edition!
Held over 2 days at the F1 Pit Building, the celebration of the epic saga will feature activities like movie screenings, a costume fashion parade, a guest appearance by 501st Legion founder Albin Johnson and his pink R2-KT, and craft workshops.

Highlights include the Star Wars Run, a friendly 5.4km marathon where you can choose to run either on the Light Side or the Dark Side. Music, light projections, and a stunning firework display will be available en route, and a 10km run is available for seasoned runners as well.
Each runner will receive a Run Pack with exclusive Star Wars merchandise, including a T-shirt and either a Yoda or Darth Vader tote bag and picnic mat, depending on which side you run on.
Registration has been extended till 3rd May, so sign up ASAP if you want to get your hands on those goodies!

2. Singapore Cocktail Festival: Festival Village

It’s not every day that you get to taste cocktail mixes from the best bartenders around the world, but that’s precisely what you can do at the annual Singapore Cocktail Festival, which has $12 festival cocktails, bar-hopping tours, and cocktail workshops.
The 10-day booze bonanza will feature 25 of the best bars in Singapore, with local favourites such as Operation Dagger and Smoke and Mirrors, and 9 of the best in Asia, including Bangkok’s Bamboo Bar, and Bali’s Night Rooster.
There’ll also be 20 artisanal spirits tasting booths and 15 celebrity guest bartenders at the event, including Lukas Kaufmann from 28HKS, and master mixologist James Estes from Skullduggery!

Other highlights include the Asia Bar Battle, henna painting, free gentlemen shaves by We Need A Hero, a silent discotheque, and delicious grubs like Wagyu Beef Cubes and Mentaiko Corn Cup.

3. Peroni Sunset Cinema

Film buffs, up your outdoor movie experience with Peroni Sunset Cinema, the largest open-air cinema event in Singapore! Held by the seaside, audiences can expect a live DJ set pre-film as you watch the sunset and dig into dinner and drinks – their menu includes freshly shucked oysters and rice bowls.

4. Shakespeare in the Park: Julius Caesar

If you’re into the arts, Shakespeare in the Park is back again! Yes, it’s that time of the year once more, and this time we’re treated to a modern rendition of the classic political thriller, Julius Caesar.
Set against a backdrop of current global affairs, the play will have elaborate and spectacular stage design, costumes, and acting –  the role of Julius Caesar will be played by “theatre royalty” actress-director Jo Kukathas.

5. Coco Game Center

We’re no stranger to haute couture giant Coco Chanel, and true to their status, they’re holding one of the largest beauty pop-ups in town that’s arcade-themed. Known as the Coco Game Center, the pop-up will have actual arcade game consoles that have been converted into booths for trying out their latest summer-inspired Cruise 2018 Makeup Collection. Real games will also be available for you to challenge your friends with, and according to their official website, you’ll need an hour to fully explore the space!

6. Beerkini Rocks
