1. Meows in Museum
If you are not a cat lover, hopefully this exhibition will change your mind. Russian artist Svetlana Petrova’s sense of humour unfurls in her tongue-in-cheek renditions of classical art paintings where her 10kg cat, Zarathustra, becomes the centrepiece. Her exhibition in Singapore will showcase 20 pieces of works including Chia Mia Tee’s famous Epic Poem of Malaya. You can check out the rest of her art here.

3. Comedy Talk Show by Harith Iskander By EcoWorld
Harith Iskander, Malaysia’s godfather of stand-up comedy, is in town this weekend for an exclusive one-night-only comedy show that you do no want to miss. 4. Girl Gang: Opening Night
Girl Gang is an exhibition showcasing the works of local artists as well as those from India, USA and Indonesia, who explore the notion of female sensuality and power. If you’re all for girl power, head down for the opening night where femme punk band No Pantz will be performing.

5. Octoburst! – A Children’s Festival
If you’re up for babysitting duties or just don’t know how to entertain your kids, head down to the Esplanade this weekend for tons of free performances, activities and workshops that would delight the little ones. There are ticketed performances for the childhood classic Little Red Riding Hood, and the Secret Life of a Suitcase.

6. Oktoberfest 2016 at Clarke Quay
We can’t get enough of Oktoberfest – our excuse to wind down and indulge in some beer and hearty German food. It will be nothing short of a good time at Clarke Quay with a 5 piece German “Oom-pah” band, resident bands and DJs, as well as games where you can win exclusive Oktoberfest merchandise and dining vouchers from Paulaner Clarke Quay. 7. Jeeves and Wooster: Perfect Nonsense
With a sell-out year in London’s West End and three successful UK tours behind them, winner of Best New Comedy at the 2014 Olivier Awards, Perfect Nonsense, is coming to our shores.
When a country house weekend takes a turn for the worse, Bertie Wooster is unwittingly called on to play matchmaker, but also to steal a silver cow-shaped cream jug from Totleigh Towers. 8. Yogabar x Lepark Rooftop Yoga Sesh

9. Singapore Indesign 2016
For those who have an eye for design, Singapore Indesign is back with exhibits featuring design installations, creative collaborations and hands-on activities. With certain showrooms and studios peppered all over Singapore, free shuttle bus services will be provided for the convenience of guests. There will also be exclusive launches, design talks, meet-the-designers sessions and networking opportunities.
