Tampines Mall Now Has Stuffed Chicken Wings With Unique Flavours Like Salted Egg Prawn And Mac & Cheese

Fuss-free stuffed fried chicken wings and halal spam fries

StuffedWing 7
When it comes to comfort food, there’s no doubt that fried chicken wings are ranked high on the list – but when they are already conveniently deboned for you and stuffed with more comforting hearty goodness, we’ve got ourselves a game changer!

StuffedWing 9True to its comforting nature, StuffedWing is located in an unpretentious and familiar setting – the cosy kopitiam!

Enter StuffedWing, a new venture by Broson Catering, who have been skillfully deboning chicken wings for over 20 years now. With mastery of the technique and 2 whole years of R&D poured into the launch of StuffedWing, it’s not surprising there was a perfect balance between chicken and filling in each 3-joint-wing, which also amazingly looked untouched!

Unique flavours

StuffedWing 2
A total of 5 flavours are available for you to choose from, with Mac & Cheese being one of the most mind-blowing. That’s not to say that the rest isn’t as interesting – in fact, they’re all our local favourites, which includes Nasi Lemak, Nonya Curry, Salted Egg Prawn, and har gao, their Original Prawns!

OMGooey Mac & Cheese

StuffedWingThe OMGooey Mac & Cheese is such a guilty pleasure.

Great with a pint of beer on the side, the OMGooey Mac & Cheese ($3.80 a la carte, $6.80 set) is a match made in heaven. Made with 3 types of cheese – cheddar, mozzarella, and another that’s kept a secret, the mac & cheese filling is creamy and rich, yet not at all cloying thanks to the juicy chicken meat and crispy fried chicken skin!

Sedap Nasi Lemak

StuffedWing 10
Thanks to National Day, we’re no longer strangers to all sorts of Nasi Lemak-flavoured food items – but with actual nasi in StuffedWing’s Sedap Nasi Lemak ($3.80 a la carte, $6.80 set), it’s still a must-try, and a personal favourite of mine!
StuffedWing 4
Served with homemade sambal chilli that’s neither too spicy nor too sweet, biting into the wings will leave you with a lingering coconut and pandan fragrance in your mouth, just like the traditional dish does.

Shiok Salted Egg Prawns

StuffedWing 1
If you’re a fan of salted egg yolk, rest assured that you won’t be disappointed by this creation. Reminiscent of a salted egg lava bun, the Shiok Salted Egg Prawns ($3.80 a la carte, $6.80 set) is stuffed with a generous amount of creamy salted egg yolk prawns! As an added bonus, tiny bits of chopped chilli padi are thrown into the mix to add a little spicy kick!

Tantalising Curry Potatoes

StuffedWing 7
For those of you who, like me, grew up eating thick Nonya chicken curry with bread, the Tantalising Curry Potatoes ($3.80 a la carte, $6.80 set) will be sure to bring back memories. Packed full with plenty of soft potato cubes, the curry is only mildly spicy, so you don’t have to worry if you can’t handle your spice that well!

Original Prawns

StuffedWing 11
Dim sum lovers will be pleased to know that StuffedWing’s Original Prawns ($2.90 a la carte, $5.90 set) are actually har gao-inspired, and surprisingly enough, they do taste exactly like the traditional Cantonese shrimp dumpling!

Sides

StuffedWing 8Champion Fries are less salty than the usual spam fries!

Besides wings, StuffedWing also serves a variety of fries. Choose from flavours like Truffle Fries with Parmesan Cheese ($5.90), Sweet Potato Fries ($3.50), and Cheesy Fries ($3.50), and make sure to give their Champion Fries ($5.90) a try – they’re spam fries specially made from chicken luncheon meat!

StuffedWing 3Keep a lookout for new wing flavours – they’ll be released every 3 months!

Plus, if Tampines isn’t in your vicinity, StuffedWing will be launching their very own delivery service sometime mid-Sept on top of being on Foodpanda and GrabFood, and there’ll be an exclusive home delivery menu as well that includes whole fried chickens!
