Can’t get enough of cat cafés in Singapore and across the border? Well, cat lovers are in for a real treat as there’s another new cat café that has just opened in JB with entry for just ~$2 SGD per session!

Cat Times is a new 2-storey cat café located in Austin Crest, about 30 minutes away from the checkpoint. It’s a little further from the usual haunts, but hopefully that means that you get to enjoy less crowds at the cat café. The space is decorated with a modern Japanese-inspired theme, and there’s a massive sakura “tree” right in the middle as a climbing gym and playground for the cats.

Currently, there are about 19 resident cats at the café, and you can cuddle up with cats like British Shorthair, Siamese, Maine Coons, Ragdoll and more. Entry to the cat café is also priced at an affordable RM10 per session (~$2.80 SGD per session), and walk-ins are allowed.

After playing with the cats, head to the second level of the café for a bite and some drinks at their comfy sit-down space. They’ve got various coffee, soda drinks and assorted cake slices you can choose from. Cat Times also opens till pretty late at night, till 11pm on most days, great if you’re looking for some late-night kitty cuddles.
