The first ever crossover café of Sanrio’s two beloved characters, Gudetama and Bad Badtz-Maru, will be opening in Singapore on 30 July 2020! Here are some exciting features of the café that we can look forward to!
Imagine this: two iconic Sanrio characters spouting our native “Singlish” phrases? This is exactly what you can find at the upcoming Kumoya Café! Especially as we’re approaching National Day, the theme of “SingaporLah!” at this café will definitely be fitting!
Kawaii-Looking Food & Drinks
Kumoya Café will be collaborating with the viral @littlemissbento to launch an array of cute international cuisines designed with Gudetama and Bad Badtz-Maru graphics, such as Pancakes, Curry Rice, dessert waffles and many more!
Kumoya is a Japanese-French inspired café based in Singapore, and they have collaborated with some of the world’s most iconic characters, such as Cinnamoroll, Care Bears and My Little Pony, just to name a few! They also have a policy of inclusiveness, so all food and beverages are halal-certified(no pork, no lard and no alcohol) and are prepared by a team of Muslim crews!
