Standing tall and proud, the Empire Burger is usually a feat that 3-4 regular people take on. If you’re up for the challenge, try beating the fastest time for the challenge that stands at 7 minutes 43 seconds. Consisting of 3 thick juicy beef patties, bacon, swiss & cheddar cheese, fried egg and topped with a whole lot of vegetables, the challenge is no easy task. If you’re able to finish the whole plate of burger, fries and salad in 20 minutes, and your meal is on the house. Just from the looks of it, the Terminator burger is out to kill. The Terminator Challenge consists of a massive 1kg burger comprising of six beef patties, bacon, caramelised onions and drizzled with a generous amount of cheese, and coleslaw and a large serving of fries on the side. Get the Everything experience with Wildfire’s The Works Burger. 4. Beast Burger @ The Beast
You’ll be having a food baby after eating this burger (if you can even stomach it) that weighs a whopping 3kg – that’s the average weight of a newborn child. Consisting of juicy beef patties, slow cooked pulled pork, fried chicken, coleslaw, lettuce and tomatoes all sandwiched between a custom made 9-inch bun and served with a bucket of fries. This doesn’t come cheap at $125, but considering its massive size, it could easily feed 4 adults.

5. McGettigan’s Burger Challenge
Finish 32 ounces of McGettigan’s burgers in 32 minutes and walk away with a free meal. 6. Base Mega Tower @ Base Cafe
A sandwich might not entirely classify as a burger, but it is just slabs of meat and other ingredients sandwiched between two pieces of bread right? This sandwich is a whooping 9 layers tall, consisting of bacon, egg, ham, tuna and mixed vegetables. The challenge is to finish it within 10 minutes, or fork out $25.

7. Fat Basterd @ Fatboy’s
Everyone knows Fatboy’s serves up pretty reliable plates of burgers, but its Fat Basterd burger really takes the cake. Double beef chuck patties, chewy bacon, cheddar cheese, a fried egg and homemade Fatboy’s BBQ sauce are wedged between two sesame seed bun in this monstrosity. Priced at $19.80, it is one of the more affordable massive burgers out there.

8. King Brew @ Brewerkz
Never would we expect a bar to provide such substantial and amazing grub, like Brewerkz’s gigantic King Brew burger. Get this: two massive New Zealand Black Angus beef patties (220g each), layered with melted cheddar cheese, sauteed mushrooms, bacon, caramelized onions and a dollop of beer chilli, all sandwiched between two brioche buns, plus a side of fries or onion rings. Priced at $35+, this is definitely a go to dish to share with some friends over cold beers.
