Fried chicken lovers are in for a treat, from Chick-fil-A announcing their debut in Singapore, and now yet another viral fried chicken chain will be opening here too! The latest entrant into Singapore’s fried chicken scene is none other than Sides by The Sidemen!

Eagle-eyed fans of the UK-based fried chicken chain have spotted the Sides hoarding at Bugis+, and Capitaland Malls’ official website has also listed Sides Singapore as “Opening Soon”. There’s also official @eatsides.sg TikTok and Instagram accounts set up, though no content has been posted on either accounts so far.

If you’re not familiar with Sides, they’re a cult-favourite Nashville-style fried chicken restaurant chain founded by the popular YouTube collective, The Sidemen. They’re best known for their double-dipped and double-coated crispy fried chicken, burgers, wraps and more. While the Singapore menu has yet to be announced, we can expect to see the brand’s famous fried chicken wings, tenders, burgers, waffle fries and shakes, just to name a few. Sides Singapore should be opening soon by June 2025.
