You’re probably sick of seeing Game Of Thrones and Avengers news everywhere, so we’re bringing you a little break with our favorite (furry) Pokémon.
The game character is starring in first ever live action movie as the world’s cutest detective in Detective Pikachu, premiering next week on 9 May 2019. The iconic Pokémon will also be voiced by actor, Ryan Reynolds, who’s famous for his role as the snarky Deadpool and will be lending his voice chops to lil’ Pikachu over here.
To gear you up for the talking Pikachu animated movie, here are some exclusive merch that you might love if you’re a fan!

We’re not sure if there will be any Detective Pikachu exclusives, but we won’t know until the site goes live. The entire collections is made of various Pokémon skins and characters which can be customized to fit cases for iPhones, Airpods, MacBooks, or you can get accessories like charging mats, card cases and ring holders. Most of the Pokémon characters are from the original series, with Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Eevee, Snorlax, Jigglypuff, Mew and Mewtwo just being some of the Pokémon spotted in the collection.
The Pokémon Company x CASETiFY “Day & Night” collection goes live on 10 May online.
DETECTIVE PIKACHU EZ LINK CARD
We’re glad that we finally in Singapore because we now get to boast that we’ve got exclusive merchandise! EZ-Link and Buzz Convenience Store are partnering up for an exclusive EZ-Link card collection that can only be found at Buzz stands in Singapore.

There are a total of 4 different designs, all featuring the cuddly Pikachu in his spy garb in Ryme City. One of them even features Tim Goodman, the son of the Pikachu’s Pokémon trainer.
The full collection comes in a collectible box that is only available through preorder from Buzz on their Facebook page. If you buy directly from Buzz stands, you’ll only be able to buy the individual cards which are launched respectively on 3 May, 9 May, 16 May, and 23 May.

Limited edition trading card packs called Detective Pikachu Case Files are released by The Pokémon Company. Each collections includes a Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo and Greninja file each containing special promo cards, Detective Pikachu booster packs, Pokémon TCG booster packs, and also a code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game to be played online.

The pack also includes the hyper exclusive Mewtwo, Charizard, and Greninja GX cards which are really powerful in battle games. All the cards sees the Pokémon appear as their live-action counterparts – some cute, some slightly freaky as we’re not used to seeing them as furry creatures. Keep them or use them in battle – it’s up to you.
The Detective Pikachu card and other merch can be found in select retail stores for those who stays in America and on pokemontcg.com for everyone else. Prices start from US$9.99.
