A new concept focused on the art and beauty of dining has officially opened its doors earlier this month! Debuting for the very first time on 15 June 2021, the all-new Chura Sushi Bar at Suntec City was conceptualised to deliver a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.
美ら (pronounced Chura) which translates to beautiful in Okinawan, perfectly embodies the philosophies of this new establishment. Set within an opulent store, the Chura Sushi Bar showcases an abundance of gold and emerald-esque fixtures in the form of lighting, tabletops, columns, and intricate bar design.
Inviting all guests to indulge in a quintessential Japanese dining experience, Chura Sushi Bar serves a variety of fresh sushi and sashimi, alongside insta-worthy artisanal cocktails. Complete with special ingredients imported from Okinawa, Japan, this restaurant is now offering a $35.80 Chura Nigiri Set comprising of 10 kinds of sushi beautifully-plated with tasteful adornments, and the $25.80 Chura Signature Roll which features a delicious bundle of tuna, salmon, marinated white tuna, japanese egg omelette, and seasoned dried gourd, wrapped with seaweed and marinated radish, then topped with decadent sea urchin, caviar, ikura, Okinawan sea grapes and red radish.
Other offerings include, the $15.80 Volcano Roll which showcases deep-fried tempura shrimp and Japanese cucumber encased within crunchy tempura-battered seaweed, which is topped by homemade spicy miso and nacho cheese sauce, the $23.80 Temari Sushi, and an array of beautifully crafted $18 cocktails in the form of the Autumn in Yokohama, Matcha Made in Heaven, Cherry Blossom, and Sake Frizz.
Coffee lovers can also opt for the restaurant’s $15 Rose Matcha Latte, if Roku Gin infused cocktails are not their cup of tea.
