Mate Mate Cafe: A millennial’s paradise
With bright pink and purple hues, huge neon signs, and adorable photo-worthy props littered everywhere, Mate Mate Cafe is every Instagram-savvy millennial’s dream.
Inspired by Korean bathhouses, the cafe is armed with a quirky “bathtub” ball pit, a cheery “lawn” area with artificial grass, a claw machine filled with soft toys, and pastel pink everything!
There’s even an old-school arcade machine!
A couple of designated photo spots are also available, and with cute props like pink and purple water guns, tennis rackets, shopping carts, and even roller skates readily found in the cafe, let’s just say that you’ll need lots of memory space freed up on your camera before you drop by.
In terms of food and drinks, Mate Mate Cafe offers a handful of snacks and a charming selection of cakes and pastries. They also boast a cereal bar and an extensive beverage menu of sodas, smoothies, milkshakes, coffee, and tea!
This lemon-infused water is on the house!
Located in Guangzhou, China, perhaps it’s time we placed this city on our radar as a future holiday destination!
